Karthika is completed her college final year semester. She is packing her things in hostel. Everybody in her college worry about their farewell. But nothing can do. So everybody share their contact details others. Karthika is travel to coimbatore, her sister is working as a nurse in a private hospital. Her name is Aarthi, she is only relation, because in her childhood days her parents died in an accident, after that Aarthi only going to work for her sister's studies. Both are very good sisters.
Karthika is thinking about her sister and she decided once she got the job within a year she want to finish her sister's marriage, and she want to work herself. And no need bother her sister anymore. Once she reached her house and she knock the door. Her sister is open the door. Karthika got shocked, because Aarthi is bald. Karthika questioned her sister, "aarthi what happened to you, why you became bald", Aarthi said, "hey, nothing to worry, please come inside, and take rest, I will share everything with you", then karthika came inside the house and she went to refresh her self. After her bath she came for her breakfast. Aarthi is serving the food, Karthika asking, "aarthi can you tell me now the reason for your headshave, you had a long hair, but now everything gone, what happened to you?", Aarthi smiled and said, "Karthika yes, I had a long hair, but this hair is not help me it's create a problem, that's why I shave my head", karthika is not understand her sister's answer, "aarthi can you explain clearly", then Aarthi said, "karthika in my hospital one of my dean is proposed to me, but I won't like that, he is not stop his proposal, some of them in our hospital spread the rumors about me and the dean, but I am not love Dean, also somebody said I stole his heart with my beautiful hair and my structure. I refused all the rumors but, nobody believe the truth. Finally I decided to go bald, so I tonsure my head at tirumala last month, after my tonsure, Dean also stopped his proposal, also he feel guilty himself, because of him only I tonsure my head, so he left the job and went to his native. After my tonsure most of them realized what they spread is wrong.". Karthika shocked and said, "aarthi if you have such problem you could have resign your job and join some other hospital, why you shave your head?", Aarthi said, "karthika, it's not possible at this situation, because I had loan amount of Rs.1 lacs in my hospital for your studies, If I resign the job I should pay all the amount. Otherwise they won't leave me. So I don't have choice also I am working in the hospital for more than 9 years, our MD had a good opinion about me, so I complete my tonsure. Also I am planning shave my head yearly twice, otherwise somebody again propose me, I don't want to marry anybody, my wish is I want finish your marriage with in 2 to 3 years.".
Karthika is cried and hug her sister, "aarthi actually I am planning your marriage, but you planned my marriage, but I don't want you to continue the job after the loan amount is over, because I am also planning to go to a good job". Aarthi said, "Karthika I don't want you to go any job you can here for some time, next year I will finish your marriage". Karthika knows her sister is adamant so she said "ok aarthi I will accept your condition, but I don't want you to shave your head anymore, If you shave your head again I will not accept your condition". Aarthi got surprised her sister's decision and finally she said "Ok, I won't shave my head anymore" . Then after 1 year Karthika got married, by the time Aarthi had a hip length hair.
After the 1 month of her sister marriage, Aadi month is came so Karthika came to her sister's house for the 1 month. Aarthi said, Karthika, I had vow to tirumala, If your marriage is over I will shave my head so, I am planning to go to tirupathi tomorrow, you also come with me. Karthika shocked once again, she questioned what about my condition?, aarthi smiled and said, "correct, but this is a vow, not a forced one, I need to do it". After her Aarthi's request karthika don't have any words, then they travel to tirupathi, and Aarthi complete her tonsure and comeback to their house. This time Karthika got the promise from her sister about not to tonsure after this. Aarthi also accept her Karthika's decision. But aarthi had a satisfied her self. Karthika is thinking about her Sister's sacrifice and proud her sister.
