My Experice with Bald Girl

I have seen a young but married girl with bald head today at restaurant. She is very cute. She had a 1 year baby in hand, her husband with her. But she only shaved her head, and she shaved her head 2,3 days back. It's not cleanly shaven head. But she is bald look. She and her hubby waiting in the reception area. Me also sat near by them for listen their discussion.

Initially she spoke about other things. Finally she comes my topic, yes headshave, not with me. She said to her husband how I am looking now, he said you are good. She said thanks and again I don't know how do I face my office colleagues with this look. He said don't worry no body will tease you, because you did it for god. She said I know, they won't tease me but they will look me with surprisingly and asking about my tonsure. Her hubby said, yes, obviously everybody will ask, because anybody shaved their head others will ask the reason. And they will comment about their look. So don't take this as hardly. She said yes, I know but it's difficult face others with the look.

Her hubby said, Geetu, don't worry, nothing can do right now. Your hair will grow normally only after 2 to 3 years, minimum 1 year. So we can't do anything. Also this is your wish, I am not forcing you for you on this. This is your decision. She accept and said yes, I agree, already it got late, so that only I have decided and take this hard decision. Ok nothing can do. She touches her head once again. And said actually I like my new look. But I need some moral support from others. Anyway it will go normal next week. Mean time I have to adjust for this. Also who ever see me in this look will asking about this. so that also boring for me to explain. When she discussed about this she got a call, she pick the mobile and speak, like this: yes pa. I am fine. Today morning, yes, we both came to restaurant pa. Yes good darshan pa. Yes pa, I did it. No pa he is not. Next will come pa. Pls ask mother to take care herself. surely will come next week. Inform this to mother pa. Ok she is sleeping, don't disturb pa. Bye pa.

After this she said to her hubby, Appa, he is asking about our trip and my tonsure. He invite us next week. I said ok. After this they got the seat in restaurant and they left.

How is my experience. I don't know what reason she shaved only I know is she shaved her head for vow.

Dhivya's Vow

This is one of my college mate real life experience. I have change the name of the character.

Her name is Dhivya, she studying with me in UG in Arts college. She had a gorgeous long hair. She maintains very well. Actually her hair is curly, she straightened her hair. So she looks awesome in this. We both are good friends. In our group 2 girls and 5 guys. Everytime and everywhere we 7 of them will chat and enjoy with our college life. After semester holidays our college reopen, we are in the 2nd year. Few months later, Dhivya got sick and she is not coming to the college for more than 1 week. So our friends are going to Dhivya's house and we met her. She said she had a typhoid. so will be return the college by minimum of 30 to 45 days.

After 10 days me and other girl (Priya) went to her house. She is very sick, when we enter her room she wake and sat in the bed. Her half of her long hair is chopped to mid length. We both got shocked her look. After some discussion we asking about her hair, she said, due to fever she unable to maintain her hair, she is not took head bath for past 20 days for this. So her hair very ugly. So her mother convince Dhivya to chop her half of her hair. Now she is feeling comfortable.

After a discussion her mother came with coffee and snacks and she asking about our college, during her daughter's absence. We said everything went well, so don't worry about her study. Once she come back will take care about her syllabus. Her mother happily said ok. Then we asking about her return to college she said, it will take other 30 days. Because, now she is ok, but need bed rest. After her recovery they planning go to tirupathi for Dhivya's headshave. We both got shocked, and asking why headshave. Her mother said, I had a vow once Dhivya recover fully me and dhivya will tonsure head at tirumala. We looked Dhivya, she also smiled and said, yes guys, I will shave my head. This is my mother's wish so I should obey her wish. After a long chat we left her house.

20 days later we went to Dhivya's house again, this time her mother and Dhivya sporting a bald look. We asking about her health. Her mother said now she is normal she will be coming to college by next week. Dhivya said, we went to tirumala 2 days back only. We had a good darshan. And she gave the prasadam's to our friends. After a week Dhivya comes to college she covered her head with scarf. all of them in our class shocked with Dhivya's look. After this incident, Dhivya maintains only her like boyish haircut.

Uma's Decision

This is a fiction not a real one.

Sonia going to her native, she slept in the afternoon 12 pm in the bus. After some time one lady sat near by Sonia. But sonia is not seen her, because she is in deep sleep. The bus stopped for lunch in some where in the highway. Then only she wakeup. When she look the near by lady, and she surprised. The is young and she shaved her head cleanly and applied sandal in her bald head. She turn and look Sonia and smiled, and sonia also smiled. Sonia asking currently which place the bus is, she replied villupuram. Then she asked sonia where you are going, sonia replied Madurai. Sonia asking the lady where you are going, she replied, me too (Madurai). Sonia then asking where you done your headshave, she replied, Vadapalani Murugan temple. Sonia asking about purpose of her headshave, she replied it's a big story, then she started her story.

My name is Uma, 3 years back I got married. My husband native is chennai, and my hometown is madurai.Actually I had a long hair. I maintained properly, and I love my long hair. Even I am not cut my hair for the past 7 to 8 years. But once I got married, everything went wrong, due to my family financial position I am going to job, and this is my 1st job. So once I joined the job I am not able to take care my hair. But I don't want to cut my hair. But my work timing won't permit me to take care my long hair. Past 6 months my hair got fallen, so I consulted a beautician, she advise me to cut my hair short. But I denied this idea. After this she gave some natural Oil for hair. I have applied also. After this my hair fallen got stopped. But the beautician said please wash your hair weekly twice, and apply this oil. So I tried this also, after this my hair fall is stopped fully.

But I tired for these process, one point of time I hate my longhair, so I want to cut short my hair. But my hubby won't accept. I tried to convince him for haircut, but he said "no way" don't cut your hair, I like your long hair. But I said my problem for my long hair. But he didn't listen anything he denied my haircut. So I stop my argument with my husband.

After 3 months, my husband want to speak to me, he want me to tonsure my head. When I heard this statement from my husband I got shocked, I said no way, I don't want to shave my head. But he said, Uma, please listen to me, I seen you are tired to keep your long hair, I don't want force you for this decision, but think about this idea, if you tonsure your head at temple, my mother will happy, then you can try whatever hairstyle, my mother won't say anything. But if you cut your hair now, my mother will scold you like anything, also I will not able to help this. So lets decide yourself.

After 3 days I thinking about this, and finally I take the decision and I informed to my husband for my headshave. He also ok with that. Then we plan for a tonsure place and date, my husband and mother in law said this is the thaipusam time so shave your head at vadapalani murugan temple, on the thaipusam day. I also accepted. Also I said, after my tonsure I want to go to madurai, and see my parents, and will stay for 1 week. My hubby and mother in law accepted this. So today morning me my mother in law and husband went to the temple, and I tonsure my head.

Sonia asking you feel bad while your tonsure your head, Uma said, Yes, I literally cried from yesterday night, but my husband convince me, today morning also I cried when the barber tonsure my long hair. But after my tonsure I got my confidence. That's why I am not wearing an scarf to hide my bald head. But I am little bit nervous to see my parents and my office friends. Sonia said, don't worry Uma, I am not seen you with long hair, but I seen you with bald look, you are very beautiful with this look. If you continues this look also you will bold and beautiful. Don't worry about others. They will also feel like me. After this long discussion they reached madurai, then they left their place.

Anitha's B(a)old New Look

This is one our friend's real life experience. His name is Gaurav (name changed for story) he is working in a private company. In his dept.  5 male employees and 2 female employees working with him. 1 female is not married her name is Nisha, other one got married her name Anita. Anita is very good looking housewife. Also she had a long hair. She maintain her hair very well, she evenly trimmed her long hair. And her hair is upto her knee. Some time she comes in loose hair she looks awesome.

Every year all of them planning their annual leave 1 week to 15 days. Except Anita everybody decided their leaves, she will decide her leave later in the month, because her child's tonsure will happen at tirumala next month. So she is plan to take that time. Everybody accepted, and took their leave with in that month except Anita.

Next month Anita also apply her leave for 10 days, and Nisha asking about Anitha's leave plan, she said, she is leaving tonight tirumala and comeback by day after tomorrow. And then she will leave her mother's house at coimbatore. She will be there at 1 week. Also she said that this is the first headshave for her child so we are planning this grand function in tirumala. Nisha asking what do you for grand function? she replied, head tonsure for child, and ear piercing and some special pooja.

After a week, Nisha called Anitha for some official clarification, she picked up, and said Hi Nisha How are you?, she said I am fine, and how about you and how the function happened?, she said  I am fine, everything went well, I am very happy now, also I will surprise you guys next week. Nisha got confused what surprise, she said, I will not tell you in telephone, I will tell you directly. After that she asking about the clarifications and she cut the call.

1 week later, everybody came, but Anitha is not yet come, Nisha thought she will join only tomorrow. by the time Anita came with big surprise….

Yes, she shaven her long hair, and she comes up with a bald head. Everybody got shocked, and asking about the reason, Anitha smiled and said, it's my long time wish, I want to shave my head at tirumala but it's not happened, when my child's tonsure we are going to tirumala I said my wish to my hubby, initially he refused, however I convince my hubby and I tonsure my head. This is my 1st headshave after 20 years. So I really enjoy myself when I am going bald. Nisha asking you are not feel bad when you lose your long hair. she said, yes, obviously, actually when the barber tonsure my head I literally cried a lot. But after my tonsure I touch my bald head and smile. It's gives me more confident. Any way I decided to shave my head every year tirumala.

Everybody appreciated Anitha's decision.

Radhika's New Look

Hi This is not a fiction, this is my experience. One of my college mate (Radhika) had a thick and long hair. Her hair is unto her waist. I like her long hair. Some time I had a chat about her long hair. She said, her mother is take care of her long hair. 6 years back she tonsure her mid back hair at tirumala, after this she didn't cut her hair. Also she likes her long hair. But she said, mostly she will tonsure her head tirumla this year. When I got this from her mouth I got shocked, I am asking why?, she replied, her mother had a vow in tirumla last year, but it's not happened, so this time she is forcing her tonsure, but she is not interested her headshave.  But it's not in her hand, unto her mother's decision. So I am eagerly waiting for the day...

After our 1 year semester holiday, I am very interested to go to college. 1st week she is not turned up. However I want to see her so me and one of my  friend went to her house, for asking the reason for the 1 week leave. When we went to her house, her mother only welcome us. she shaved her head, we asking about her headshave, she said, it's vow to tirumala. And she said wait for some time Radhika is went to shopping will be back on other 15 to 20 mins., I am asking about her 1 week leave, her mother said she is not keeping well after the travel, today only her fever got cured, she comeback to normal, so she went to shopping.

After half an hour Radhika came, she is not tonsure her head, I am very disappointed, but she chop her hair , yes she cut her hair shoulder length. She is looking different in this hairstyle. She smiled and welcome us. And she ask us to come to her room. Then I a asking about her haircut, she said, her mother don't want to shave her long hair, so she want to chop her hair, so she did it. But her sister got tonsured her head.

Anita's Tonsure

This story is inspired from true story. I have changed the name of the characters. Attached images is just inspired from net. Not any link between this story and the image.

Anita is 25 years young girl. Anita had 1 elder and younger brother. Her elder brother is in USA and so her parents went last week to there for 1 year. Anita her brother Avinash stay together in chennai. Anitha and Avinash is working in private concern. Her parents are looking alliance for Anita for past 4 years. But they are not getting a good match for her.

They had a family astrologer is trying to match lot of horoscopes but he couldn't match anything. Her parents are worry about her daughter marriage. And 2 years back he found some fault (Dosham) in Anita's horoscope also informed about this to her parents. They asking about anything need to compensate (Pariharam) for this Dosham, astro said yes, Anita should shave her head at tirumala. Her parents got shocked and they won't accept, also they are asking another way to solve, but the asto said this is the only way otherwise no chance. But they are not accept this. Anita also heard this she also refuse to shave.

Last month she got a good match everything went well, but in the last minute this alliance is dropped out. Everybody in her family sad about this, because this is the 3rd alliance got dropped  in the last minute for some reasons. After this Anita said I don't want to marry anyone so please don't force me again, please do marriage for Avinash. But her parents said no way Ani you are the elder so we need to complete your marriage then only we are think about his marriage. Avinash is love with his college mate. Anita know about this. But their parents not know. Avinash is just 1 year younger to Anita. So he is also eagerly waiting for Anita's marriage, then only he will speak about his love.

By the time Avinash is fiancee's came up with some problem, for her parents looking for alliance, so she informed her love interest to her parents. Initially they are against this but after some long conversation they accept this. They met Avinash and spoke about this. Byt they put one condition that is need to complete the marriage with in a year otherwise they will select other match for their daughter due to some family problems.Avinash said after her sister marriage only she will marry her daughter. Yes, this is your decision, but we are accept this but with in a year you should marry otherwise don't blame us. Avinash don't have words he said ok.

Finally Avinash parents also knows this, they also worry about this. Again they contact their family astrologer  again he said please compete her tonsure at tirumala, you will get a good alliance with in 6 months, otherwise no chance. They spoke to Anitha, and told about this, but she is not accept. But she loves his brother, so after the long hard decision she accept her tonsure, but this time Avinash is not accept. But she convince Avinash.They are planning to go to tirumala this weekend. She called her parents and said this, they are not happy but they said ok Anitha take care.

Anitha, Avinash and her fiancee Nisha three of them starting to Tirumala. In the way Avinash said, Ani is this necessary to tonsure, because if you tonsure, if not getting any alliance in a year what will we do. She said correct, but we will try this also, because, if thinking later we could try this now. If it's workout we will happy otherwise leave this. They reach tirumala at 9AM in the morning and they got darshan in the evening. They went to their room and refresh for some time. After 2 hours they are going to Kalyanakatta for Anita's tonsure. Nisha also not interest about Anita's tonsure. Once they reach the tonsure hall Avinash bought 1 ticket for Anitha. She is standing in the que. Ane she touches her long hair. There are lots of lady barbers sat and shave female head. She had tension, butterfly is flies in her stomach, because this is the first time she tonsure her head after 20 years. She is not remember her last headshave also. She is seen some of the girls and ladies are cutting their hair little bit, in her que she is the only young with long hair for headshave. This also her tension. She is watching the tonsure process. After 15 mins her turn. She free her hair and gave the hairband to Nisha, and said it will not use for her other 1 year.

Then she sat in front of the lady barber Avinash gave the tonsure token to her. She is asking gundu / cut (tonsure or cut) Anita said gundu (Tonsure) then Anita gave her long hair to the women, she bend her head and pour water in her head. Anita feel sadly. She massage her long hair nicely. Her long hair is now completely wet. Then the barber put two knots, and barber insert a new half blade in the knife and bend her head again. Anita said Govinda, barber shave her middle part, Anita feels chillness in there head first time in her life. In her lap her hair is felt down. She look her hear and had a tears in her eyes. But she don't have any choice, by the time the barber shaves her left side and right side. She is now half bald, her front portion of the head is completely bald and back side the long hair then the barber shave backside of the hair also. In Anita's lap full of her hair. Once again baber completely shave her bald head.

Finally Anita stood up and came to Nisha, and give her thuppata, Nisha said it's cool Ani. Anitha said thanks, then she wash her bald head in the bucket of water. Some of the hair in her shoulder she clear with water. Avinash is watching this entire process. First time he look at Anitha with bald head. He took some pictures for bald head Anitha.

Next day in her neighbours are shocked Anita's look, she said it's vow. She sends her bald look photos to her parents. After 6 months she got a alliance. Now she had had a boy cut look. So there parent fix there marriage next year for Anitha and Avinash in same day.

Nisha and Gayathri is New look

Nisha is a housewife her age is 28 and she is the best longhair women in the flat. Everybody likes her long hair. Some of the females are jealous about her hair. But she is friendly with everybody, also easily mingle with others. So most of them like Nisha. Her hubby is in Hyderabad, he will come every month. Her best friend in the flat is Gayathri, she is also an house wise. But she is younger than Nisha. Her age is 24, she got married last year only. Both of the went everywhere. After a month Gayathri coming with a new cut bobcut, Nisha for shocked her new look. She said, it's difficult to maintain a long hair that's why I cut my hair, also I want to change my look. Nisha also likes her short hair. Gayathri asked why you are not try a short hair, Nisha said, I love my hair also I don't have any difficulties to maintain such a long hair, also I don't want try a new look. I want to stay with my long hair for in my whole life.

But everything changed with in a month, Yes, Nisha shaved her head at tirumala, everybody got surprised, her new bald look, especially Gayathri. Hey Nisha what happened last month you said me, don't want to try a new look and stay with the long hair, but suddenly you are coming with a bald head? Nisha said, correct that time I don't have a idea to shave my head, but my hubby have vow at tirumala, so he wants me too join for this, initially I was fear about my tonsure, but he advised me to tonsure. In my marriage life, he did me for everything without without asking, also he is not asking anything to me , this is the first time he request me, so I accepted my hubby's wish and I done my tonsure. Anyway hair will grow other one year, it's not a problem, I had a little worry of losing my long hair, but my hubby's wishes comes true. If he is happy I am also happy and our life will go without any problem.

Actually I cried a lot in the whole night, then my hubby said if you are not interested I will not force you, the word he said is I feel guilty. Finally I accept with smiling face. Yesterday we went to tirumala and shaved both of them head and comeback.

I am just 21 years old I got married before three months we are living in as a joined family with my mother in law and
 father in law and my husband’s younger sister. One day my mother in law came to me and said she took a vow to their family
 god if their son gets marriage she will make her daughter in law shave her head in temple.  first I was shocked and refused 
then that night this conversation came to talk my husband told me to do this but I started to arguing and I refused to do because
 I got thick beautiful black hairs and I love them. in the argument I uttered to my husband if I shave my head will
 your mother and your sister will give me company by shaving their head also? They were shocked and they went inside a room 
and started to discuss and I can see his sister crying there because she is doing her college second year and she too got thick 
beautiful long hair, then they came outside with sad faces and said ok we agree your to condition and we are going to our temple 
this Sunday and be prepared. Now I cannot able to speak I am completely arrested. On Sunday early morning I took bath and went 
to hall I can my mother in law packing her dresses to wear after her headshave. I can see my husband’s sister in front of mirror 
combing her hair and she came outside with her hairs arranged in two plaits neatly combed. We all reached our temple by 10am 
and we took rest for an hour suddenly my husband told us to move towards bask side of temple where the head shaving is being done. 
There was very less crowd so we went to a barber and I asked my mother in law to take the seat first, she sat cross legged down and 
barber applied water and took his straight edge razor and kept on her head and moved front, back, sideways and I can see a cube ball
 like structure and my mother in law smiled at me, my heart was pumping heavily to see her bald. Then I asked my husband’s sister to 
sit she felt very shy to sit and shave in front of others but she was forced. Since she was with plaits and her hair was thick and 
long the barber undo the plaits and separated into two half and tied them in bun on each side after applying water she was made to 
bend down and the barber pushed her head to touch her breast and took the straight edge razor and started to move from the center to
 downwards and front and finally the sideways two bun of hairs fell on her lap she was totally bald. I cannot imagine such a beautiful
 girl with beautiful hairs were now bald she stood up and clean the fallen hairs from hand and shoulder. Without speaking a word she went.
Now it’s my turn I sat in front or the barber and I was with my hairs kept in a beautiful plait and barber undo the plaits and 
as did earlier he divided my hairs in two half and applied water and after massage he put two knots with my hairs in either side.
 Waters are leaking all over my face and the barber changed the blade in his razor and starting from my 
center part of head he moved the razor downwards I can feel the movement of razor and the breeze that
 strikes my head in that shaven area and the razor moves to front and back and in some minutes two buns
 of hairs were in my lap and the barber asked me to get up. My husband was helping me to clean the hairs 
in my face and in back. Then we took bath and went home in our street all were looking us with their mouth 
wide open. Yes it is too hot and sexy to see three bald woman’s at a time and two were very young and beautiful.
 Then I was thinking I have done a blunder to my husband’s sister because she has to face her collage Mets with her bald head.

I am 22 years old and working in a software company and my husband is a business man.. I am one of the beautiful girls in my company.
 I got beautiful, long, thick, silky hair and used to go to company with neatly combed and I used to make it as  plait. Some days 
I used to go with pony tail and on those days I can see some guys going mad by looking me and my beautiful hair.
We got married last year, for the first six month we were enjoying our married life but then my husband used to say no colleague of mine 
should not come to home or I should not roam with them but I did not care about those rules and we were enjoying.
One fine night in bed my husband was lying beside me and playing with my hair and in our conversation I told about my new trainee and
 I uttered his comments about my beautiful hair and I further told about my colleagues comment on my hair, he asked so your hair makes u
 beautiful and it is the one which attracts other males to u, I said yes and after an hour we slept.
After two days my husband called me and told he got a new offer from one of his client that is our visit to goa and our stay in the
 weekend and all the expense are to be provided by them and so he told me apply leave on Saturday. I made myself prepared for the trip
 mentally and physically and our journey started on Friday night and we reached hotel in the morning and we were taking rest. My husband 
told he will get some snacks for us and he went out and bought some parcels and kept it in one shelf and we took bath, we went to visit 
the beauty of the place and while eating dinner he told me that he is going to shave my head tonight and I was shocked to head about that 
and I started to cry since it is a public area I controlled and went to room. once I stepped inside I started my argument but nothing helped 
he said  if you to live with me you have to do this or else if u want your hair divorce me. He asked what do u want- me or your hair.
 I said hair.He told that’s good first come to bath room with me you need some preliminary steps to be followed then 
he took me to bathroom and asked me to remove my dress and I did after that he gave me a nice shower bath with shampoo and took me to bed room
 and asked me to sit in the chair in front of dressing table then he took that bag which he kept in morning when he bought snacks. 
That bag contains one straight edge razor and pair of scissor a comb and a white towel. He took the towel and covered me till neck, 
he took the comb and started to comb but since my hair is thick and wet he feels difficult so he thought of waiting till it gets dry
 so meantime he started to press my boobs and my hair started to fly once it is dry I looked more beautiful at that moment. 
Then comes the worst moment after partition he put a rubber band on one side and made it as a ponytail and the other half he started to cut 
it from end to top with help of scissors and comb and once it came to my nape he stopped and took some more water and 
applied water droplets was leaking in my face and he took straight edge razor and started to move it on one side and 
hairs started to fall on my lap once he stopped his work he lift my face and asked to see me in mirror, 
I was shocked to see me one half of my head is with ponytail with waist level thick, black, silky hair
 neatly combed  and other half of my head is totally BALD. 
Then in a minute without removing my ponytail he started to wet my rest half portion of hair from root level then 
he massaged after that he took the straight edge razor and starting from my fore head he moved the razor 
and sideways and finally my back and that ponytail dropped in the floor from my head. He took it and kissed
 and told my wife’s beauty is in my hand now.
Then again he gave me a nice bath and shaved my armpits too in bathroom. 
I went home with bald head and in Monday morning I went to office with bald head 
those who looked me with long silky black plaited hair saw me with bald head 
some will come to office specially to see my hair and my beauty but those people are shocked to see me bald without any prior
 information and they started to make fun of me.

3 Bald Girls

Her name is Charulatha, but everybody calling Charu, she like this. She had a gorgeous hair. She cut her name Charulatha to Charu not her hair. Yes, she is love her hair, she is proud herself for her long hair. Her hair is unto her knee. It's not a curly hair, but it's wavy hair, so she want to straighten her hair but her hubby won't like that, he said don't do, because you have naturally a long hair, if you done that your hair will start falling so don't. She also consider her hubby's decision. Her hubby went to Delhi for 6 months training. She is alone in chennai. They don't have children.

Suja, hey Suja where are you?, her mother in law called, she said, aunty I am taking bath, wait a minute will be back. Then 15 mins she came. Her mother in law said Suja, when you are going to office, please pay the EB bill, she said no problem, aunty, I will. Then Suja request her aunty, what about yesterday I am asking, her mother in law said, no, I won't allow. She said Aunty please, because I am really struggle, she said no way, you can go to office. She is worry. Because she had a gorgeous hair. She maintains very well for longtime. But now a days her hair is start falling due to work pressure and other concerns. So she want to cut it short, so she request her mother in law for her haircut, but she won't allow for her haircut. She got married 2 years back, her hubby is working in Dubai, he went 22 months back. He will return only next year.

Anisha is studying in college 2 year, she had a waist length hair, she loves her hair. But everything went wrong  on next week, yes her mother vowed her hair to tirumala 3 years back, due to some family problems. Due to some situation that time Anisha is not tonsure, so her mother informed to Anisha to tonsure this year. But she denied, her mother said no way Anisha, otherwise I will cut short your hair in middle of your sleep. Then she don't have any option. She agreed after 2 days long conversation with her mother. Her tonsure will happen in next week at tirumala.

Charulatha, again called her hubby for her hair straighting, he suddenly said, ok I will give you a permission, but you should shave your head at tirumala this week, then I will permit. She got shocked, and she replied, what you are talking, is there any sense, If I shave my head means how do I straighten, he replied, not this year, after your tonsure, your hair will grown so that time I will permit for your hair straighting. She said no way. But he said, no Charu, this is my vow because If I got promotion your head will shave at tirumala. I got promotion now so you should shave your head at tirumala. When I am coming to chennai you should be bald head. Charu is speechless. after a long discussion she cried a lot and she accept her hubby's decision. Also he said, once you shave your head please send me your photos. That is before and after headshave photos I am eagerly waiting your tonsure. She said ok.

So the weekend, Suja is standing in the bus stand for going to tirumala for her tonsure. Yes, her mother in law insist her to tonsure her head, Suja happily accept, because she is a spiritual girl also she want to cut her hair, but her mother in law is not accept, but she is insist for tonsure. The bus is came, she sat in the seat, next her one long hair middle age women. She watch her long hair and said your hair is beautiful, she replied thanks. Then she is asking her name, she replied my name is Sujatha, everybody called Suja, what is your good name?, she replied Charulatha. But you can call me Charu. Suja replied oh great, so you are going to tirumala, Charu said, Yes, and you, Suja said me too. Then they both chat each other very well, both of them shared their family background, Charu asking why your mother in law is not coming with you, Suja said, she is old women, so she won't travel long hours, that's why I came alone. Charu said your hair also long, I like it, Suja replied thanks and said, you know I am going to shave my head, Charu surprised and said what your are saying, Yes my MIL had vow so I am also planning to short my hair, but suddenly she request for my tonsure, so I said ok. Charu said, Suja I am also going for my headshave, this time Suja got shocked, you are lying or real, Charu said it's real. Actually I don't want to shave my head, but my hubby compel me to shave due to prayer. I am not really the mood to shave my head. Suja said don't worry I will be with you, actually I am enjoying my tonsure.

Anisha and her mother waiting for the bus, the bus is came, and both of them went inside the bus, all the seats are full it's 3+2 seats, only 2 seats one is in the front other one is in the middle, so her mother went to front and Anisha went and sat in the middle.  There are 2 young mid aged women is already chat with each other, Anisha request their to sat next to window, because she is feeling vomiting. Then they allowed Anisha to the window seat. Anisha said thanks, then she is took the rubber band and put it in her long hair. They both seen her long hair, and said vow your hair very long, how do you maintain, Anisha feel bad and said, it's just growing I am not cut my hair for past 5 years, and she said you both also long hair. They said thanks, and asking her name, she replied my name is Anisha. Then one women said her name is Sujatha and her name is Charulatha. Both of the informed to going to their tonsure. Anisha surprised and said me also going shave my head. Both of them got shocked, you are a young girl, what is the reason for your tonsure, she said it's my mom's decision I don't have choice. The Anisha is asking about their reason for tonsure, both of the told their situations. Then Sujatha said so Charu and you are not happy with your tonsure, but I am very happy to go bald. I will encourage both you for your headshave, Anisha said ok, Once I will reach I will call you when you both going to tonsure I will also come with you girls. I want a company. Both of them said ok. 

In the travel time they 3 of them speak a lot about their hair, maintenance, families compulsion everything. All 3 girls similarity is long hair to bald, and insist by their family, but 2 of them not interested their tonsure except Sujatha. Once they reached to tirumala, Anisha and her mother left to their cottage, they already booked the cottage. Suja and Charu went to search the cottage, but they already shared their contact numbers with Anisha. So Anisha is waiting for the call. She informed her mother this, she also not worry because, she should tonsure her head, if she got the company that's not a problem for her. After the lunch she got the call from Suja, she ask Anisha to come near by place also she gave the Hotel name. Anisha reached the place after 1/2 hour. Charu is looking different, yes, she is put two side ponytail, and wearing churidhar, Suja is tied her hair with rubber band. Anisha is in free hair with Churidhar.

Once they reach the tonsure hall, they bought the tonsure token. And they stand in the que, before them 2 male and 1 young lady with mid back hair standing. Finally the young lady cut her hair, not shave, so this is Suja's turn, Suja sat in front of barber and gave her token, he pour water in her head and massaged well, now her long hair is wet, then he inserted the new blade and start shave her middle of her head. Her head is half bald, Charu is taken video, and Anisha is took photos for Suja's tonsure. After 5 mins Suja is first bald girl. Next turn is Charu, she sat and given the token to barber, Suja said, please cut her both side of the ponytails first and shave, then the barber took the scissor and cut her two side ponytails, this time bald Suja is taken the video, and Anisha is took the photos. Now charu is with short hair like boy cut. Then the barber pour water in her head and massaged well, and he put the knife in her middle head and shave her head. Charu is literally crying, but no other option for her. Other 2 mins she is completely bald, she is the 2nd girl with bald. Finally it's Anisha's turn, she touch her knee length hair with sad face, Suja and Charu said go Ani, then she given her tonsure token to barber, and she sat infront of barber, he pour water and massaged well, and other 5 mins Anisha is bald. All 3 need to take a snap for their bald head, so everybody took  other one's photo. Then all of them shared their video and photos with bluetooth immediately. All the 3 of them coming from different place and they met because of their tonsure. Now all three girls are bald, they left the place. 

Charu sent her video and Photos to her hubby through email, and youtube link, Suja also did the same way. Anisha shown her video to her mother. 

Aahalya's Sacrifice

This the real story I heard from one of friend, but this is not his story. It's my friend's neighbour experience. I have change the name of the characters in this story but the incident is real, some portions of the story is my imagination, not a whole part.

Sanjay is in mumbai. But his parents are in chennai. Sanjay got the message from one of his college mate, Guna. Guna is family friend of Aahalya. He said Aahalya is coming to chennai this week she want to meet you sometime in next week. Also he gave Sanjay's number to Aahalya, so once she reach chennai she will call Sanjay. In his college days he loves a girl because of her hair. She also loves sanjay her name is Aahalya. But both of them not proposed each other. However they know both of them in love.  2nd year only Sanjay proposed his love to Aahalya. She also accept. Aahalya is a Commerce student, Sanjay is a Science student. Aahalya's native is Tirunelveli, but sanjay is chennai. After their college days also they both continue their love. Sanjay got the job in manufacturing company in chennai. But Aahalya is left chennai and she went to her native. But their love is still on. Sanjay want to inform their love to Aahalya's parents first. and get the permission for their marriage. Aahalya also accept this, because their parents searching a match for her. So one weekend he went tirunelveli and met her parents. But they won't accept their love, due to status and cast. Aahalya is comes from rich family. 

But Aahalya compel their parents for her love interest for more than a year, she thought they will accept her love one day. But they got the match for in their cast itself, they forced Aahalya to marry their selection. This guy name is Diwakar he settled in london. So she called Sanjay and want to marry otherwise she will commit suicide. By the time Sanjay is in Delhi for his office work. He said it's difficult to come to Tirunelveli so he want Aahalya to speak her love to Diwakar. She said she already spoke to him, but he is not care about this, he also impressed with her beauty. By the time her engagement also over. Her parents fix the marriage in with in 10 days. So Sanjay decided to pick her in Tirunelveli in next two days. She also accept. So he started from Mumbai to Chennai. But when he on the way to the railway station his car is met with an accident, he got severe injury. He admitted in hospital. Next two days he is in coma. 

Aahalya don't know this, she tried to called Sanjay but he is not reply also his mobile switched off after 2 days.  When he wake from the coma he want to call Aahalya and want to inform about his situation. After some discussion with the doctors, and his parents, they called Aahalya and informed. So she don't have choice. Her parents also forced her to marry Diwakar otherwise they will commit suicide. If sanjay will recover of minimum of 8 to 9 months. So finally she accept her marriage with Diwakar. After her marriage she went to London with Diwakar. 

This is the flashback of Sanjay's love.  After 48 hours he got the call from Aahalya and she informed she is in Tirunelveli, and she will come to chennai next week. So she want to meet Sanjay in near by restaurant in their college. He also accepted. Also she informed Sanjay to don't call her number. Once she reach chennai she will back. So he eager to meet Aahalya after 4 years. Sanjay apply the leave and he started to chennai in the weekend. After he reaches in chennai he met his college friends. Next day he got the call from Aahalya she said she reached chennai this morning and she will meet him by 7pm in the evening. 

Time is coming, he reached the restaurant and he is waiting for her ex lover. After 10 mins Aahalya came with a surprise. Sanjay couldn't believe, because she shaved her head completely. She came with new bald look. She sat in front of Sanjay and smiled she ask about his health and his parents health. He said fine, and he said what happened to you why you shave your long hair. She said, Sanjay you love me because of my hair. Your love also true, when you met with accident I prayed got for your health. Also I married Diwakar in your health condition, so I have decided to shave my head at tirumala after some years if you coming to normal. Also I don't want you to love me after my marriage. So I informed with my hubby for my headshave this year in tirumala, but I said the reason is for their family only I am going bald. He also accept my vow. So last week I came to tirunelveli and yesterday we went to tirumala, there me and my hubby shaved both of their head. This is the only thing I can give you at this time, I don't know it's wrong or right but because of you only I shave my head. It's true, also please forget me and marry a girl and start a newline, no more long hair for your Aahalya. And she want to meet him with her bald look, then only he feel she is not her love interest. But sanjay said, dear I loved you so much, correct but you got married, and I am not stop your marriage for my situation, but you shaved my head because me you said, it's hurt a lot, I know you love your hair so much like me, once you married diwakar, I don't want to love you because you are wife of other person. But thank you so much, you sacrifice your lovely long hair for me, also I am not disturb you. 

After some conversation she left the place and sanjay also left the place. After a year Sanjay also got married and he settled in chennai. After 2 years again he got a call from Aahalya, he surprised how she known his new number, she said Guna shared his number, she is asking about his family, he said he got married. She is coming to chennai again next month, if you want to interest to meet me as a friend, I will inform you. Sanjay said Aahalya, you are my best friend so I will meet you with my wife once you reach chennai plase come to my house with your husband. She also accepted. After a week she called again she will meet in sunday morning in house with her hubby. 

In the sunday morning 10 am Aahalya came, now she is in boy cut also she coloured her hair, she is looking modern girl, but she is wearing traditional silk saree. she had a 3 year old son. Sanjay's wife also knows his love, so she is not worry about their relationship. Also he shown her college day pictures to his wife. She got surprised Aahalya's boy cut look. She is asking, in your college days you had a long hair, I've seen in your photos. But you are now very short hair, why you cut your lovely hair, she said, I got bored my long hair, also I shaved my head 3 years back I shaved my head, after my tonsure, I want to maintain short hair. It's easy to maintain such hairstyle. After long discussion and lunch, they left from their house. Also she want to keep in touch with his family. But Sanjay still remember Aahalya's sacrifice.

Kavya Long hair Girl

Nithya got the call from her aunty, she will come in today evening. Nithya is married 8 years back, she had a baby girl, her hubby is in abroad. Her parents is passed away. Nithya's aunty is came from london. Her name is latha. Nithya met her in her childhood. She settled in london for 30 years back. She is come first time in india after her marriage. In the evening her aunty came with one young girl. Her aunty introduce the girl is her elder brother's daughter her name is Kavya. Nithya welcome both of them and she gave the snacs and tea.

Her aunty is asking about Nithya's hubby and her son. she said he is in dubai, and her son is went to tuition. By the time Nithya asked about Kavya's background, she replied she completed her college this year only. At this time only Nithya noted Kavya's long hair. She surprised about her Kneelength hair and asked about the seret of her hair. Kavya said she is not shaved her head for her childhood itself. Also she maintains her hair very well. Nithya had a mid back hair only. After this Nithya like very much Kavya. Then her aunty said she is going to tirumala tomorrow, she ask Nithya to join, but Nithya said, it's not possible. Then her aunty said then ok, not a problem, once I return from tirumala I will come once again your house, anyway I will going to london this month end. Nithya is happily said always welcome aunty. After 1 hour her aunty and Kavya left the her home. But Nithya informed kavya to keep in touch with her. She said ok. 

Next week her aunty called Nithya, and she want to meet again, she said ok. Again in the evening her aunty came with Kavya. Nithya got surprised……..

What happened???? A small surprise.

Nithya's aunt is shaved her head, she comes with new bald look. Nithya asking about her tonsure, she said she had a vow at tirumala long back that's why she came to india, finally she shaved her head. This time kavya's hair is mid back only. Nithya again surprised haircut of Kavya, she said she also vow her hair, so she cut her hair mid back. Nithya questioned why you cut your long hair, if you have a prayer, you can trim your hair instead long cut, Kavya's smiled, yes, but this is not my wish my mother insist me to cut my hair, because, I haven't shave my head in my childhood already I told you, so my mom, this time I want to cut my hair. Initially I hate this but laths aunty also compel me, for this, so I don't have choice, so I cut it unto my mid back, but that's not a problem, I will grow my hair again. Nithya said ok, but next time don't cut like this. I don't want to see you in short, if I see next time you should be in knee length hair. Kavya said, yes that sure.  After this Nithya met Kavya after 2 years for her engagement. Now she had a very long hair, above her knee. Nithya is very happy now. Now kavya is a cute long hair girl.

Harish's Ego Gone with Hasini's Longhair

Hasini housewife, she is very beautiful. In her college days most of the guys propose in her college. She got married 3 years back. Everybody met her hubby (Harish) they said you are very lucky, your wife is very beautiful. Also Hasini is very calm and very adjustable girl. So everybody in her family like very much. But after some time hairs got ego about her look. Because in 2 years back if somebody said you are very lucky, he is very proud himself. But now a days he got irritated all these statements. 

Also Hasini had a knee length hair, so most of them talking about her hair. She is vey care her longhair. One day Harish said to Hasini, "Dear I want to request you something", she smiled and asked "what"?, he said, "but you should do that, I don't want to you deny my request", Hasini said, "Harish, this is the first time you are requesting me so whatever it is I will accept, so don't worry about that, please tell me what you want?", Then Harish said "Dear I know you love your hair, but I prayed to tirupathi, to vow your hair that is complete shave last year, due to my business problems, now all my business problems are solved, so….., Hasini little surprised and then she replied, "Ohh!, dear this is my pleasure, so when can my headshave you are planning", Harish got shocked and said "I thought you are not accept my request, but all of a sudden you accept without any hesitation, why", Hasini said, "because I love you so much Harish, compare to my hair you are very important to  me, hair I can grow any time, so tell me when we are going to tirupathi?", Harish said tomorrow?, Hasini said " No problem".

Then they started tirupathi next day morning and they reached and take a cottage. They took some time for rest because they got the darshan at evening only. By the time Hasini want to take some photos of her long hair. So Harish took some nice snaps. After the lunch they started to kalayanakatta for Hasini's tonsure. He bought a tonsure token for Hasini, and he is questioned Hasini, "are you really happy or you want to cut your some part of your hair", but she said "No problem harish I can shave all my hair".  She standing in the sue, before her one male and one old lady waiting for their tonsure. After some time Hasini's turn is come. She sat infornt of the barber, and she gave the tonsure token, then he pour the water in her head, and wet her long hair completely. Then he put two knots and he took the knife and insert the half new blade, Hasini feels shy this time, because this is the first time she is sat in front of the barber since from her childhood. Also she is feel bad and she cry little bit, and the tears are come out first time. But she is very happy her hubby will satisfy her tonsure. So she stop her cry. By the time the barber shave her middle part, she is now half bald, one side of her head is completely bald. Then the barber put the razor in other side of the head and start shaving. Another 2 mins she is completely bald. She leave the place very happily. And she apply sandal in her bald head. 

Next day they came to their house. All of their neighbor's shocked and surprised her new bald look. She replied it's vow. After this also everybody said to Harish, your are very lucky, because your wife is gave her beauty for you only. Harish don't have no words. He thought she should deserve this word. And he realize he made a big mistake, because these kind of lovable wife make him bald. He is very guilty himself. He said the same to Hasini, but she replied, no problem, Harish, don't worry about my headshave, if you want I can shave my head for my whole life. Then harish hugged Hasini. After this he don't want to make her bald. Then the ego went off from Harish with Hasini's longhair, they both start their new life happily.  

Abirami and Abinaya's Longhair

Abirami and Abinaya both are sisters. Abirami is elder than abinaya 7 years. Abirami got married 2 years back. Before her marriage she had a gorgeous long hair but Abinaya had a shoulder length hair. So Abirami teased Abinaya with her long hair. But Abinaya is not worry about this because she don't want grow long hair. After Abirami's marriage Abinaya became a matured girl so she won't cut her hair. She grow her hair long. Now she had a knee length hair. But Abirami cut her hair mid back. Abinaya asking about her haircut she said it's difficult to maintain such a long hair and take care of her child and the entire family that's why she cut it. So this is time for Abinaya to tease Abirami. She said now my hair is long compare to yours. However you had a long hair sometime back but now mine is longer than yours, what you say? Abirami smiled and said Abi, I accept your statement. I want you to watch your long hair. So please don't cut any situation. Then both are hugged each other. 

After a year again Abirami grow her hair long unto her hip length. This time again Abinaya asking now why you grow your hair, you said it's difficult maintains such a long hair? She replied, correct, but next week I will shave my head at tirupathi. that's why I didn't cut my hair for the last 1 year. Abinaya got shocked and said what you are saying, are you gonna bald next week? Abirami replied with smile "yes". Her parents also said the something. She already informed about this last week, initially we shocked but this is a vow so we don't say anything. Abirami is worry about her sister's headshave. And she is asking anybody in your family is forcing you to shave your head? Abirami said "No" actually my mother in law ask me to shave my head, I also accepted, because she had a vow. Also in family nobody shaven their head except me. Because this is a long time vow for my Mother in law. So I don't want to deny her request. Also I eager to shave my head, it's boring for long hair, so I want to bald for sometime. Then Abinaya said can I come with you to tirupathi? She said ok.

Then next week all of the family members and Abinaya also traveled to tirupathi. They reached at 9 AM. They had darshan at 3pm. So her mother in law said abi please go complete your tonsure and comeback, by the time we are getting ready. Abinaya said aunty I am also going with my sister. Her mother in law said ok. Then both of the went to kalyanakatta, and she bought a tonsure token. And both of them standing in the Que. Abinaya said abi I want to cut my hair here. Abirami surprised with abinaya's decision, and she asked why? she said you giving your all of your hair, so I want to given my hair some part with your company. She said ok.  First abirami sat in front of barber and said please cut my half of my hair. Barber also cut her hair equally her half of her hair. Her knee length hair is gone, now she is with mid back hair. She looks her haircut and smiled. Then Abirami's turn, she also sat, and given the tonsure token to barber, then the barber pour the water in her head, and massaged her, her entire hair is now wet. Then he put two knots. And he insert the half new blade in the knife, and he put the knife in the middle of her head and shave the part of her head, her bald plaite is coming. Abinaya is watching her sister's headshave first time. Another 2 mins Abirami is completely bald. Abinaya touches Abirami's head and said nice look sister you are beautiful with this look. Abirami smiled. Then both of them left the place and reach the cottage. Her family members are happy. Also they appreciates Abinaya's haircut. Again abinaya said this time also my hair is longer than your hair. Abirami said yes, but at present I don't have hair. I am hairless lady.

Sujitha's Headshave

Sujitha's head is shaved by the barber. She is not crying actually she is happy about her headshave. She is not a short hair girl she had a long hair. Sujitha suddenly wakeup from the sleep. She touch her hair is there or not. It's there then she is satisfied, then she look at the timing it's now 5am in the morning. Then she started for her studies. This dream is 3 time in this week. But she don't know the reason behind it. She is studying in 2 year Bsc in a private college. Her semester examination is started, that's why she is preparing. But the headshave dream is disturbed little bit. 

So she want to share her experience with her mother, she got surprised but she said, no problem, it will stop other 1 or 2 days. So she also convince,but  next day the same time the dream comes, she wakeup at 5 am again. She got a confusion. She want to check any psychartist. She again spoke to her mother, her father also there. So he said once you complete your exam, will go and check with the doctor, If the dream stops by the time no need to go to the doctor. But the dream is continues everyday exactly same time. 

So she and her father went to hospital  in the semester leave. She told her dream to doctor. He listen everything and he asked when you are got shave you head last time. Sujitha replied it's in her childhood about 8 years. He again asking you have any pending vow to any temple, she said no, but he again asking the same question please think for some time and tell me. She is thinking sometime and she said no. Doctor said these is not a big problem, this dream will end in some days.  So don't worry about that. She satisfied about doctor's reply. 

They came to home, she told everything to her mom, then her mother said, you have one pending vow is there in our family temple, I prayed to god for if you get good score in 10th std you should shave your head at our temple. You got a good score in 10th but by the time in our family your uncle is passed away so I postpone your headshave and I forgot. Sujitha got shocked and said then what we can do, check with the doctor what he can say about this. Next day she and father again went to the hospital and checked about this he said if you have any pending vow you can do. Sujitha is asking if after my tonsure also the dream will come means what we can do? Doctor said first finish the vow and check for sometime if this is continues will decide after that. 

So their family is started their trip to their family temple.  They invite their relatives also for the function. Because every year all of their family members went to do the pooja in the temple and somebody shaves their head. This time it's Sujitha's turn. Next day morning they reached the temple their family members are also came from other cities. Some 15 of the came for the pooja. Then everybody chat about their health and family. After sometime Sujitha's mother told about her daughter's headshave. They all are happy. By the time the barber came, so Sujitha is went and sat in front the barber, all of her family members eagerly watch her tonsure. This barber is shaved her head in her childhood, so he remember her face, and he asked about her health and she said she is fine, then he is asking haircut, she said headshave, then he remove the rubber band from her hair, and he watches her long hair and he said you hair is very thick and long so you really want to shave, she said yes, then he smiled and said you have a brave heart. Sujitha smiled, then he pour the water in her head and massaged her head properly. Her long hair is fully wet, then he took razor and put a new half blade and started shaving her middle of her head she is very shy because around her all of the family member are watching her tonsure. Her hair is felt in her lap, she is little bit of worry about her headshave, but she don't have choice, she is thinking about how to face her friends and neighbor with bald look, by the time her half of the head is bald, then the barber shaves her both side of the head. Next 5 mins she is completely bald, but the barber once again put the razor and shaves her head smoothly. Then he said your head shave is complete. She look at her bald look in the mirror, but she is not recognize herself. She touches her head and scratches her bald head completely. Then she left for her bath. Her mother bring her to the well, and pour the water in her head and she wash her head with water. And she said your looks like beautiful Suji, she smiled. After her bath she is wearing a yellow saree by the time her mother applied the sandal her bald head. Then she only coordinating the pooja. After 3 to 4 hours everybody left the place and Sujitha and her family reached to chenani. After her headshave her dream got stopped, she got very happy about that.

Boycut Bharathi

Bharathi is working in private school as teacher, she is 28 years old. She married women. She is taking care 11^th std. She has a knee length hair. Bharathi maintains well for past 6 years. Before that she had midback hair. For the past 6 years she is not cut or trim her hair. But the summer holidays are over and the schools are open, bharathi came to school. But her hair length got reduced. It’s not upto her kneelength it’s just midback. Her close friend and teacher Girija asking about her haircut, she said she went to tirupathi last month and she cut her hair. After this haircut she has done some different hairstyles, like loose hair or ponytail. But she maintains very well. After a week she has done a front cut also.

After 3 months she is requesting leave for 15 days.  But due to the examinations she got only 1 week only. She is not happy about the leave. However she is little bit happy with the 1 week leave. Her friend Girija asking about her reason for the 1 week leave she said she is going to her native and they have some family function. Then she left the place and she informed about 1 week leave their class students.

After 1 week Bharathi comes to school with cleanly shaven head. She is not hiding her bald head. Girija got surprised about her look. And she is asking about her headshave. Bharathi said I have vow at our family temple last year itself, but due to some family problems I haven’t done. Also this year I have another prayer at tirupathi so I have little confusion where I can shave my head, then my husband advice that tirupathi I can cut my half of hair, and in our family temple I will do my headshave. So I shave my head last week. I have very shy to come with bald head that’s why I am asking for 15 days. But after my headshave I had a confident so I came without covering my head. Also she said she for this tonsure only she grow her hair long. Otherwise I will maintain only shoulder length. After this headshave she maintains her hair boycut. Sometimes she will grow her hair upto shoulder length, but after one week she cut her hair short.

Divya's Tonsure

Place: Tirupathi, Kalyanakatta (Tonsure Hall)

Time: Morning 7AM

Divya and Karthika standing in the que, for tonsure, not for Karthika, it’s time for Divya. Divya have a hiplength hair, actually it’s curly midback hair she straighten her hair 2 months back, so it’s extended upto her hip. Karthika is younger sister of Divya, she is not yet married. Divya got married 3 years back she had 1 year baby boy. Karthika and Divya’s mother in law, her hubby and her child everybody came for Divya’s tonsure at tirumala this morning. They stayed in the cottage, Divya and Karthika only came to tonsure hall.

Karthika asked her sister, “Divya 2 months back you spend 7K for your hair straighting, now you came for headshave, it’s waste of money, you can said this to your mother in law about the cost she can denied your tonsure this year, why your not inform to her?. Divya smiled and said “ You don’t know my mother in law if I said this to her she will keep me bald for entire my life, actually I don’t know this headshave this time,  I thought it will be next year. So before that I want to grow my hair long, so that’s why I straightened my hair, my hubby also accepted, but all thing sudden she planned last week only for this tonsure this year, I spoke to her about this I can shave my head not this year but she is not accept, I don’t have choice, so anyway it’s god’s vow so no worry about this, only my concern is the amount I spent for my hair straightening”. In the mean time Divya’s turn for headshave is come, so she sat before the barber and karthika gave the tonsure token to the barber, Divya gave her thuppatta and her hair band to karthika and she informed to barber for her headshave. Then the barber pour the water into divya’s head and massaged well, Karthika looking all the process, because she is watching this first time in her life, her sister is shave her head before her. She watch eagerly her headshave. Barber massaged her head nicely and fastly, then he put two knots.

Then the barber took the knife and insert the new half blade, and put the knife in her middle of the head, and he started shaving. Her bald plait is coming, he continuously shaves her right side Karthika watches this and Divya looks karthika and smile, she also smile her half bald head. Other 2 mins he completely shaves Divya’s head, she is now cleanly shaven head. Her head is very shining. Then she standup and asking her thuppatta, Karthika gave the thuppatta, Divya ask how is my look, Karthika said you are very beautiful and she touch her sister’s bald head nicely.

Renuka's Parlor Shave

Hi this story inspired from a true incident happened. One of the Delhi based journalist experience about her head shave after her delivery and she is not shared the reason of the head shave. But in my mind I have a reason behind that's why I write the story. I hope everybody will like this. Only the character name is changed. 

Renuka roy is a journalist with long and lustrous hair. She married other co employee. It's a love marriage she settled in Delhi. She loves her long hair and she proud her hair is the asset and the main beauty. After marriage also she is working. Everything went fine. 

After 1 year she delivered a baby boy. She and her hubby very happy for the child, also it's normal delivery. After 3 days she discharge from hospital. But her body is still weak. So she want to continue the bed rest for more than a week. Her hubby also took care. Because both of the parents are not in india. So her hubby took a week leave and he cares wife and the child. After 1 week she is coming normal, but the day her hubby's uncle passed away in london. They got the news from london both of them got worried about the sad news. But after 2 days they become normal. Then Renuka started to discuss with his hubby for her vow to tirupathi. Because it's already they planned, if she delivered a baby boy with she will shave her head at tirupathi with in 1 month. if it's a baby girl her hubby will shave his head tirupathi. Because she likes boy, and her hubby likes girl baby. But her hubby said, "Renu that's correct, but now my uncle is passed away, so we shouldn't go to temple for this 1 year. So next year you can shave your head at tirupathi, if you want I will also join. Then Renuka said ok, anyway we will not do anything for this situation, so my hair will stay for next 1 year, will shave both of them heads next year at tirumala." Her hubby also accepted this.

Next day morning her neighbor came to their house and he asking about baby's health and Renuka's health. Her name is Lakshmi, she is also south indian. She is 30 years of age. After the some discussion she informed she is going to tirupathi by next 2 days that is coming saturday night. If Renu's family want to do any pooja in tirupathi she will do it behalf of their family. Renuka said nothing aunty, actually I planned to shave my head at tirumala after my delivery but his uncle got passed away so this year I will not do anything like temple related, but I will give some money please put it in temple hundi, anyway next year we both will shave their heads at tirumala. Then lakshmi replied I have other idea Renu, if you want you can think about this, Renu questioned to lakshmi "What idea aunty", she replied, per your statement you will not going to any temples for the whole year that's correct, we are also following these kind of formalities, but you can shave your head and given to me I will put it in tirupathi when I reach. Renu surprised her idea, "Aunty you are correct, but where will I go and shave my head?", lakshmi replied, "Renu you can go to some parlor and shave your head and bring some hair or whole hair, and given to me any way my hubby and me also shave both their heads this time, so I will put it in the kalyanakatta. Renu and her hubby happy about Lakshmi aunty's idea. So both of them accepted, then Renu replied " Aunty I thought my hair will stay for next 1 year but god decided whatever happened I should shave my head so that only you told about your trip and your view of idea". Lakshmi said "Yes tirupathi is special place, if you prayed something you should to finish the vow". Then Renu said, aunty I will shave my head coming saturday morning, and I will given to you. She also accepted.

Satruday morning, Renuka is ready for her tonsure, her hubby said, can I shave my head today, she said no need, this is only for me, next year if you want you can shave. Her hubby said ok. And they are calling lakshmi for sometime to take care of their child, they will be back after 1 hour. The baby is sleeping well, anyway he will wakeup after 2 hours, before that they will come. So lakshmi said ok for that. Then both of them started to parlor, and they reached at 11 am morning. It's a unisex saloon (male and female) In the receptionist said madam can you please wait for some time, because 3 of them is waiting before you. Renu said ok. And then the receptionst asking for the purpose of the visit, that is facial, haircut, massage, her hubby said headshave. She noted, and then she questioned, madam you want any haircut, Renuka smiled and replied, headshave is for me only not for my husband. Receptionist said, sorry mam, then she informed to the beautician about this through intercom. After Renuka 1 young girl and 2 male are waiting. After the 15 mins receptionist called renuka, mam you can go, then renuka and her hubby going inside the parlor, and the beautician said welcome mam, please take your seat, sir you can also sit this sofa. So Renu went and sat the haircutting chair, and her hubby sat behind her the sofa. 

Beautician covered her body with big cloth, and Renuka touch her hair to remove the clip, but the beautician said, no problem mam I will do it you can sit relaxly.  Then renu sat normally. Then the beautician asked, mam want a headshave? renuka said yes, please, then the beautician comb her long hair, and said your hair is beautiful, why you want to shave, renuka said it's a vow, so please shave me and give some hair to me. She said ok. Then she sprayed water to wet her hair, by the time the girl and 1 boy came to the room, the girl is coming for facial, she had a mid back hair, and the guy is coming for haircut. Then the beautician take the scissor, and chopped her hair unto her neck and she is now bobcut, again she chop her hair front and back, the one standing next to her freaked out and asked her what the hell she was doing. Beautician replied to the guy, headshave. The guy shocked and he had no words, by the times beautician chopped all of Renuka's hair, her hubby also watching all this process. She is now military crew cut, then the beautician pour some more water in her head and wet her short hair, and take the  machine razor and put her backside of the hair and shaved cleanly, her bald plait is coming, she continues her shaving process, all the part right and left side and finally front side, and Renuka is completely bald now, her beautiful hair is in floor. she look her face in the mirror, she won't believe, she is look like an monk with bald head. Then the beautician apply shaving cream in her head and again she shaved her head with knife cleanly. Other 2 mins her head is very shining. Beautician said, mam "your headshave is finish, you want anything", renuka replied, "ok that's fine", then she asking her hair, beautician called the other girl and take some hair from the floor and pack and given to renuka, she also did the same. Then they paid the about to reception, and everybody in the reception looking Renuka surprisingly, because young girl comes with clean shaven head from the parlor, but renuka is not worry about that. Finally they came to house, lakshmi aunty is looking renuka and said, "Renu you are very beautiful with out the hair, this is inspired my headshave, so I don't worry about my headshave", renuka said "aunty don't worry hair will grow some time, this is the religious vow" and she gave the bag to lakshmi and said "this is my hair, please put it in tirumala behalf of me", she said, "no problem renu, this is my pleasure". Then she asked about her child, she said, "baby is sleep well", then lakshmi leave the place, and renu went for her bath. Next day everybody in the flat seen Renuka with bald look surprising and shocked, and asking about her headshave, she replied vow to tirupathi. 

Husband is Important Compare to Longhair-Says Kanika

Jeeva working in a pvt concern, and he recently married Kanika. Both of them working in different companies. She is from kerala both of them loved each other before their marriage, but both the family is not accept their love. One fine day they got married without informing their parents and they settled in Chennai. Obviously kerala girls have long hair, so kanika have waist length hair. She maintains her with lot of care. Jeeva also loves her long hair. He also bought lot of natural oils and samphoo’s for her hair.

One day jeeva met with accident, and he admitted in hospital. Kanika cried like anything, because she loves jeeva very much. Both the families not consider jeeva’s condition. But jeeva’s friends and office collogues are helped lot. Then he cured little. He also discharged from hospital. But he is in bedrest for next 2 months as doctor’s instruction. So kanika’s salary only the family income for past 4 months. She prepared food everyday for jeeva and she went to office. Weekend whole day she spends with jeeva.

But this Sunday kanika is starts for office. Jeeva got surprised, and he is asking where she is going. She said, in her office audit is going on so this Sunday she need to work.  Also she said she will be back on lunch. Then jeeva said ok. She also left from house. And 1 pm, Kanika came, she covered her head with saree. First jeeva is not considering this. After some time he look little different with kanika’s face, so he ask kanika to remove her saree in her head. She also removed, jeeva got shocked, because kanika sporting clean shaven head, her long hair is gone. Then kanika said this a vow, when jeeva met accident she prayed to vadapalani muruga temple for her headshave if he cured. So that she went and tonsure her head. Jeeva asking why you are not informing me for your tonsure before. She said if I informed this you will not allow me to tonsure, so that I am not informing you. Jeeva huged kanika and cried, kanika convince her hubby. But jeeva said, you had a waistlegth hair,  you loves very much, every women loves their long hair, but you shaved your head because of me. She said this is not a big thing. Anyway after some time hair will grow but in my point my husband is important compare to my hair. After this incident both of them love life more colourful.

Problems Solved After Tonsure

Sangeetha is newly joined a company. She got married her hubby is in dubai. She had knee length hair. She is from orthodox family so she is not cut her hair, it’s very shiny and long. She is look like a shampoo or hairoil model.  But she vows her hair to tirupathi last year and not yet full filed her vow. She want to shave her head anyway but she joined this company newly, so she had little shy for headshave. So she decided to small cut this year at tirumala, and next year she will shave her head. This her hubby is not accept, he said don’t shave your long hair. Just cut your hair not more than that. But Sangeetha said this is prayer for god, so I don’t want to cheat god, this year I will cut my hair little. But what ever happens next year I will be going bald.

In the weekend she went to tirumala and she cut her hair little and came back to Chennai. It’s look like little trim. So no body not even sees her haircut. After 2 months she met lot of problem in her personal life and official. Her hubby and she is not speak well due to some small misunderstanding. Her office also she transfer to new department, the new manager is very arrogant and angry man. So she can’t tolerate everything. Everyday begins and end with tension. Her colleagues also supported her problems, but everything against her. Nothing in her control, also many times she felt with illness.

And she finally one day she went to her family astrologer. He seen her star and other things, and he finally he asked to sangeetha do you have any pending prayer? Then only she remembered her headshave and she said this to him. Then astrologer said to sangeetha, pls complete your vow immediately, otherwise you and your hubby will face lot of problems in both of your personal and official. Then she accepted what astrologer statement. She came to her home and she is in confusing mind, if she shave her long hair, she will look like very ugly, also her hubby will not happy about her decision. But if she is not complete her tonsure everything will be collapsed. So she finally decided she will tonsure her head this weekend at tirumala without informing her hubby. 

Then the weekend she started to tirumala, 2^nd time within the 2 months. Also she don’t want 2 idea for her tonsure. Once she reached to tirumala at 10 am she directly went to kalayanakatta and she bought a token for her tonsure, and stand in the queue, before her 2 male and 1 girl is standing, by the time one girl came and she stand behind sangeetha, she also long hair but not like sangeetha’s thigh hair. She is asking sangeetha, you are going for haircut, sangeetha said no I’m going to shave my head, she surprised and said ohh! You hair is very long and shiny, she replied thanks but everything will gone other ½ an hour, and sangeetha asking and what about you, she said I will cut my hair. By the time the other girl is ready for her haircut. Then only sangeetha realize in this queue she is the only female only going to shave, so she ask the girl to go for her haircut  before her, and she said thanks and move before sangeetha. By the time she loose her long hair and wet with water, and again she stand in the queue. It’s sangeetha’s turn, she sat infront of the barber and she gave the token to barber and she said headshave, then the barber again put two knots and she prayed govinda govinda, then the barber put the knife in her middle of the head, and starts shaving her long hair. Her long hair is fallen in her lap, and the barber continue his headshave in both the side and back side, now she is completely bald, barber once again shave her bald head and said it’s over. Then she touches her bald head first time in her life. And she went to darshan she wears churidhar and she applied sandal in her bald head. Finally she came to Chennai.

Next day she come to office with new bald look, all of her colleagues shocked her look, and some of them touched her bald head. After her tonsure her problems got reduced day by day. Also she informed her tonsure to her hubby. Initially he got angry, and then she convinced her hubby. With in 1 month all of her problem got over. She believes her tonsure is the key for every problem.
